In the space of one day...
On Sunday, Kiki:
1) Sat up on her own.
2) Starting truly babbling (ba ba ba ba)
3) Recognized her daddy again and took a bottle from him
Huzzah!!!!!!

About Kiki
Kiki's very first ultrasound, when I was 23 weeks pregnant, showed some soft markers for Down syndrome or Trisomy 21. She was officially diagnosed four weeks later via amniocentesis.
Thanks to First Steps, Kiki has been getting physical therapy since she was 4 months old, speech therapy since she was 8 months old, and occupational therapy since she was 11 months old.
She is an active, engaging, happy girl who has an incredible curiosity and a contagious, bubbling laugh. Our lives have been unimaginably changed and enriched by her, and I wouldn't change a thing about her.
